A self-drive car rental in Medan gives you full control, and full responsibility during the rental. Understanding these points keeps the rental smooth and free of disputes.

1. Condition at handover

Photograph the car from every side, including existing scratches, and make sure they are noted. These photos protect you at return.

2. Fuel

Return the car with the same fuel level you received it with. Use the right fuel: the Innova Reborn and Fortuner are diesel, most other cars petrol, and hybrids still use petrol.

3. Damage

All vehicles are All Risk, but self-drive renters pay an own-risk amount per incident:

Vehicle Own risk
Brio, Avanza, Raize, BR-V, Xpander, Innova Rp 500,000
Fortuner, Civic, Camry Rp 1,000,000

If something happens, photograph the scene and contact us straight away. Do not repair the car at a workshop without our approval.

4. Electronic tickets

ETLE cameras record offences by number plate. Offences during a self-drive rental are the renter's responsibility. Wear seat belts, stay off your phone and stop at red lights. See electronic traffic tickets on rental cars.

5. Late returns

Overtime is 10% of the daily rate per hour; more than 5 hours counts as a day. If you want extra days, tell us early.

6. Cleanliness

No smoking in the cabin. A very dirty cabin, or one smelling of smoke or durian, may incur a cleaning fee.

7. Where you drive

Share your planned route from the start, especially for out-of-town or out-of-province trips.
